Open

Opens a container or a door. For a door, use the direction it stands in (open north); containers are opened by name (open chest).

Usage

open <direction>

Opens a container or a door. For a door, use the direction it stands in (open north); containers are opened by name (open chest). A locked door or container stays shut until you unlock it with the key that fits, and unlocking is not opening - open it afterwards.

Good to know

Refused while you are fighting, a ghost, sleeping, resting or sitting.
