‘get’ is used to get the specified item or gold from the ground, container, or a corpse.

Examples: get sword get 2.sword (if you have several items the same you can pick the nth one) get sword chest get sword from chest (from/in are optional and mean the same thing) get all get all corpse get all 2.corpse (the nth container, when several share a name)

With several corpses on the floor, ‘get all corpse’ takes the first one that still has something in it, so looting a pile is just the same command again. Name the one you mean with 2.corpse, 3.corpse and so on.

To empty a corpse and be done with it in one action, use ‘loot’ instead - ‘get’ is for taking one thing off a body and leaving it standing.

Good to know

• Refused while you are fighting, a ghost, sleeping, resting or sitting.
• The name get is reserved: the engine types it, so a world cannot rename it away.
